Origin and Purpose of the Sorora Festival
The Sorora Festival emerges as a response to the need for a platform that enhances and highlights female talent in the Paraguayan music scene. Designed as a “seedbed” for new artists, this event seeks to provide a significant platform for the development and recognition of the emerging talent of female artists in Paraguay.
Sorora Festival 3 Details
The third edition of the Sorora Festival was held on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at the railway station in Asunción, Paraguay. This event was attended by prominent local and international artists, including names such as Loli Molina and Sara Hebe from Argentina, as well as Paraguayan talents such as Lizza Bogado, Sari Carri, Sol Gómez, Darlings & Puta Romántica, Lucero Sarambi, Kuña Street, Rafaela Mood, among others.
In collaboration with the Sorora Festival, Random Sounds sponsored a call space, where the talented emerging artist “Disobedient Rap” was selected to be part of the festival lineup from more than 30 entries.
At Random Sounds, we reaffirm our commitment to supporting and promoting the presence of more women on the musical stage. This festival is a testament to our dedication to equality and diversity in the music industry.
